Jamie was like my elder brother. We grew up chasing each other around our mums' childhood home, stuffing our faces with all sorts of snacks, failing terribly at our second language Chinese and being hauled to dreaded tuition classes together. For the record, yes, we both fell asleep and had to be woken up by our tutor (sorry Ma & Ah Yi!) Then we grew up and got busier. He was this great IT giant while I remained a tech noob. His appetite for good food continued and he got to such a hulk-worthy size, that we joked that he was bigger than my sis, bro and me combined! He developed a passion for fishing recently and travelled to obscure places to discover fishing spots, even spearheading a magazine for fellow fishing enthusiasts.
